Jan – Founder & Director

Accountant who loves Bookkeeping

Nearly 20 Years ago, Jan saw the need for a One Stop Shop for Accounting, Bookkeeping & Office Management Service in Western Victoria. So Jan started up a Mobile Bookkeeping and Office Admin Service and drove from business to business offering just that. Inside the past 20 years, Jan has seen BBAS grow from a Small Sole trading business to a Company that proudly services a wide range of industries in The Greater Districts of Ballarat and beyond.

Ian- Director

Payroll & Bookkeeper

Ian is BBAS Accounting & Bookkeeping’s “Steady Eddy” His everyday approach and work ethic stems from his own unwavering and “set in concrete” procedures and time lines. Never late getting the Super paid or the Wages processed. In addition to Payroll and Bookkeeping, Ian takes on the “Unusual” duties that pop up from time to time. Some of theses specialised services Ian provides our clients include Sourcing Web Designers, comparing Insurance Policies, arranges Travel Permits, Prepares Loan Documents, designs and orders Invoices and Docket books. Ian is more than a Bookkeeper and Payroll Officer. He is virtually a Personal Assistant.


Office Management and Administration

Alana is the “All Rounder” of the Team. Her vast experience in Office Administration means that any admin job that needs doing, is going to get done! Our Clients rest assured that all Invoicing will be entered and emailed on time, Bills will be Paid on time, Debtors will be monitored and contacted if need be. In her spare time, Alana is either mending a fence, hand feeding calves and lambs, mowing her property, keeping her kids entertained and her husband sane. She also makes great pizzas!

Adam (Ace)

Archives Manager

Ever wondered what happens to that shoebox of receipts you bring in? Adam tirelessly scans and labels each receipt and enters them into our Cloud Based “Storage Cabinet”. He will then file the hard copy receipt into folders and hold in Storage. Adam has two major passions- His faithful dogs and his Team for whom he plays competition Ice Hockey with several nights a week.


Payroll & Admin Assistant

If you ever had to humanise the word “back up”, you would get Tracey!
Tracey wears a different cap each day from assisting the Payroll Team, the Bookkeepers and the Office Management team. This vital role can only be played by a seasoned performer boasting a brilliant memory, positive “can do” attitude and a problem-solving mind. Not only is she incredibly reliable, but she also doesn’t mind having a go at learning something new and sticks with it til she has it mastered. This true blue ridgey didge country girl loves Cricket and the Footy and her family and friends.
